Overnight Raisin French Toast

Here is a recipe we enjoyed during the January 6th Brunch!

Overnight Raisin French Toast

1 loaf cinnamon-raisin bread, cubed
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed
8 eggs
1 1/2 cups of Half and Half cream
1/2 cup of Sugar
1/2 cup Maple Syrup
2 Tblsp. Vanilla Extract
1 Tblsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Ground Nutmeg

Place half the bread cubes in a greased 13x9 baking dish. Top with cream cheese and remaining bread. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour over the top.

Cover and refridgerate overnight.

Remove from the refridgerator 30 minutes before baking. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15-20 minutes longer, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

Yeilds 12 servings.
