MOPS is a group for mothers of children ages 0 through kindergarten.

We meet the first and third Tuesday, September through May, from 9:00am to 11:00am, at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Child-care is available during each meeting.

May 18th Meeting

Our last meeting for the school year will be next Tuesday, May 18th. We have a lot of stuff going on that day! We are going to have awesome door prizes, so be sure to bring a few extra dollars. Pastor Rebecca will be speaking, we will get to meet next year's steering team, and learn of all the awesome activities planned for the summer! Also, don't forget the May 18th meeting is Teacher Appreciation Day. So if you would like your child to make something or bring something for their teachers, that would be wonderful!

Garage Sale Fundraiser

Hey MOPS Moms!
Just a reminder about the Garage Sale Fundraiser.

Garage Sale Guidelines

Set Up: Thursday, April 29th 4:00-7:00pm
Sale: Friday, April 30th 8:00am-1:00pm and Saturday, May 1st 8:00am-1:00pm

How Does it Work:
This is a chance for you to make money and help support Westminster MOPS. Clean out your house of all your unwanted, usable items. You price the item with your assigned number and we do the rest. Bring your items to the Westminster Presbyterian Church on Thursday, April 29th between 4:00 and 7:00. We will be advertising the sale in the paper, putting signs out front and staff the sale. A large garage sale brings in a lot of buyers and lets you get top dollar! MOPS will receive 50% of the sale proceeds and the rest is yours to enjoy. If you are a MOPS mom and you choose to put your earnings toward your tuition you will receive 60% of the proceeds.

What to Sell:
Clothing: kids and maternity clothes sell the best. Adult clothing may sell if it is in good condition. All clothing needs to be washed and folded before the sale. Prices tags stay on best if safety pinned to clothing. Any housewares, toys, games, tools, kitchenware, and anything else you can think of will sell. Please limit books to one box of best sellers as they get heavy. Furniture is always a big seller.

After the Sale:
You can pick up unsold items on Saturday, May 1st from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Anything not picked up by 3:00 will be donated to charity. Your check will be mailed the following week.

Spa Day!

Our Next Meeting, (Tuesday, February 16th) is SPA DAY! Remember to wear comfortable clothing, and bring a friend if you want (please let Heather know so she can make arrangements for childcare)!

The meeting will start at 9am, with Brunch, Announcements, and Door Prizes (There will be some great prizes...massages, manicures, Pauly's, etc-extra raffle tickets are 50 cents for 1, 3 for $1.00).We will have Gentle Stretching, a Chocolate Fountain and Nail care, and we will be receiving massages.

We will have a donation box for the students if you would like to donate to them.
